Onkyo GX-AiO 100 – Mid-size 2.1 for living rooms

The GX-AiO 100 sits in the middle of the Onkyo Creator GX-AiO range: a wider cabinet than the 50, with the same true 2.1 layout of two main drivers and a dedicated, independently amplified subwoofer built into the enclosure. It is the version most living rooms want, big enough to fill the space on its own and still small enough to live on a sideboard. You will find it at Soundium alongside the GX-AiO 50 and GX-AiO 150.

Key Features

  • True 2.1 architecture: Dual main drivers plus a dedicated, independently amplified subwoofer.
  • Integrated bass enclosure: The bass-reflex duct runs through the illuminated rear slit.
  • Class D with DSP: Full-digital amplification keeps noise, distortion and heat low.
  • Three power modes: Eco, Standard and Max reshape the output range around the room.
  • One hub for everything: HDMI ARC, USB-C, optical, Bluetooth 5.3 and a switchable line/phono input.
  • True Wireless Stereo: Pair two units and they split into dedicated left and right channels.

Customer Benefits

A living room asks a speaker to do several jobs in one evening. HDMI ARC puts the TV on the same volume knob, the switchable phono input takes a turntable without a separate stage, and Bluetooth 5.3 covers everything a guest wants to play. The step up in cabinet size over the GX-AiO 50 is where the extra headroom lives, so Standard Mode is enough for most nights and Max is there when the room fills up. Add a second unit and the pair separates into left and right for a wider image.

Quick Specs

  • Configuration: 2.1-channel, dual main drivers with built-in powered subwoofer
  • Amplification: Full-digital Class D with DSP
  • Power modes: Eco, Standard, Max (30-step volume scale)
  • Wireless: Bluetooth 5.3, True Wireless Stereo pairing between two units
  • Inputs: HDMI ARC, USB-C audio and playback, optical digital, switchable line/phono
  • Supported audio: 32 / 44.1 / 48 kHz at 16-bit and 24-bit
  • Lighting: LED control ring and bass-duct lighting, set in the Onkyo Controller app
  • App control: Onkyo Controller over Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Placement: Vertical or horizontal, with magnetic fabric grilles for both orientations
  • Finishes: Black or white, smudge-resistant textured

In the Box

  • GX-AiO 100 music system
  • Remote control
  • Power cord
  • HDMI cable
  • USB-C to USB-A cable
  • Quick-start guide

Ideal For

  • A living room that needs one speaker for television, streaming and vinyl
  • A home office or studio corner where a component rack is not welcome
  • A stereo pair, built from two units over time rather than all at once

Compatibility

Works with televisions over HDMI ARC, with computers and phones over USB-C or Bluetooth 5.3, with optical digital sources, and with moving-magnet turntables through the switchable phono input.

Pros and Cons

✅ Pros:

  • Middle of the range, so it covers most rooms without oversizing
  • Dedicated powered subwoofer inside a single cabinet
  • Television, turntable and laptop all connect directly
  • Vertical or horizontal placement with a grille designed for each

⚠️ Cons:

  • Bluetooth only for wireless streaming, with no Wi-Fi or network playback
  • Large open-plan spaces will be better served by the GX-AiO 150

The GX-AiO 100 is the one to pick when a room needs to be filled properly but a component system is more than you want to own. See it at Soundium with the rest of the Onkyo Creator range.
