2 x Pioneer PLX-500 + DJM-S5 – The First Real Turntable Setup

Two direct-drive PLX-500 decks and the DJM-S5, a compact Serato battle mixer that unlocks DVS: the step from controller to turntables without flagship prices. Add the Sennheiser HD 25 and a laptop stand, and pick Black or White decks.

In This Setup

  • Pioneer PLX-500 (2 units) – direct-drive turntable with 33/45/78 rpm, ±8 % pitch, S-shaped tonearm, USB audio output and phono/line switch. Black or White.
  • Pioneer DJM-S5 – USB-C powered 2-channel battle mixer with Magvel Fader Pro, Scratch Cutter, 8 pads with 13 modes and Bluetooth input; Serato DJ Pro bundled and DVS unlocked.
  • Sennheiser HD 25 - the closed-back on-ear booth standard: 70 ohm, rotatable capsule for one-ear cueing, detachable single-sided cable, handles up to 120 dB SPL.
  • Reloop Laptop Stand – metal stand for laptops up to 17 inches, heights from 23.5 to 36 cm.
